Overview
Cinematic videography has been a long-standing passion of mine, allowing me to combine creativity with storytelling. Through my Instagram account, I showcase carefully curated visuals that reflect my experiences, from travel highlights to narrative-driven short films. Each project represents my love for composition, mood, and visual storytelling.
Project Highlights:
Nami Island, South Korea :
A nature escape just outside of Seoul, filmed during Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving). The island is known for its scenic tree-lined paths and serene atmosphere.
2024 Highlights :
A short video project capturing my travels in Asia during 2024. I selected some of my best video compositions to create a cinematic visual story.
Hangang River, Seoul South Korea
This video project highlights a summer day by the Hangang River. The vibrant atmosphere features families, couples, and locals enjoying the river view.
Equipment:
To make these videos, I leverage tools like:
Cameras: Sony A7iii, DJI Osmo Pocket 3, Retro Digicam
Editing Software: DaVinci Resolve Studio, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects for color grading and effects.
Other Tools: Figma and Canva for storyboarding and creating cohesive social media content.
Reflection:
Through my work, I’ve created videos to document my life and practice editing, filming, and using social media. These projects have helped me sharpen my creative and technical skills while experimenting with different styles.
More than anything, these videos serve as as personal documentation, letting me look back and capture moments, emotions, and experiences. Positive feedback from others is just a bonus.
